William Mancortes is accused of the sexual assaults that date back to 2017, the Boston Police Department announced on Friday, Sept. 23. He is charged with two counts of rape and one charge of indecent assault and battery on a person 14, authorities said. Quincy police also issued warrants for his arrest on aggravated rape and kidnapping charges, officials added. That incident also allegedly happened in 2017.
Authorities in Quincy last year charged him with indecent assault and battery after officers said he groped a passenger when he worked as an Uber driver, WCVB reported. He pleaded guilty in June to indecent assault and battery on a child under 14 and lewd, wanton, and lascivious conduct charges. Prosecutors in Dedham said he kissed a teenager and exposed himself to a 13-year-old girl as she was playing in Hyde Park in 2020, per the news station.
